Sawatdee, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. Great to be in front of Minnesota State Capitol. Reasonable base for a city trip in Saint Paul.
What my family and I liked is that many enjoyable venues are a short walk away from this place.
Good location, and the Minneapolis / Saint Paul International Airport located not that far away.
Nice liquor store is in front of the property.
Location, easy on/off with the xwya. Breakfast is good selection, parking was private,& semi-secure.
This is a medium style hotel & location. We stayed there because of access to x way,& was close to our kids home as well as State Fair grounds. The pool has a deep end & very good, though it looked like the chemicals were not the proper mix, the water seemed a little cloudy.
the open feeling. the suites were so roomy.the manger was awesome my dad.needed a wheelchair and the motel had one that we used the whole time.the breakfast were so awesome and loved the chief
Breakfast was very good. Nice to have a suite when you have a child. Staff was friendly.
Our room needed some work. Air conditioner fan was very loud, our room did not get cleaned one day, have to pay for wifi and parking.
Bed was very comfortable...breakfast was wonderful and our grandkids loved the ducks!
Our bar sink leaked, so whenever you went from the bedroom to the living quarters there was a puddle of water. Thought maybe we should have gotten some compensation for the inconvenience. Mentioned it to the check out girl at the desk the morning we checked out.
Beautiful layout, great rooms loved the space!
Breakfast needed to be a little better directed
We love the breakfast service and really enjoyed the pool in the evening.
The breakfast hours could be a little later, maybe until 10 would be perfect.
Suite was nice. the breakfast was very good
Dinner at the "Cork"s Pub" was horrible. Worse dinner I can remember having out forever!! Wait staff was alright. The so called New York Strip was a fatty grissly piece of beef that came from I don't know where. Asked for rare and got medium at best. I could go on and on but sure you get the message.
Breakfast was very fine. Good cook and good coffee. Great location, near the train.
One closet door was off the channel and leaning against the wall. A hole had been kicked in the door between the room in the suite. I was with a group but that question was never posed from Booked.net and so I paid a higher rate than my colleagues. The entrance gate was broken so I didn't have to pay for parking. That was a plus otherwise it would have been $15.00.
Not small child accommodating, not stroller friendly, also the web site pulled the switch while I planned staying next the children's hospital I ended up 10 miles away.
The whole experience went very well. The decor of the building was awesome. Felt like we were in New Orleans. The reception and breakfast were also very good, and nice bonuses.
Having to pay extra for parking. That was somewhat of a surprise as I Didn't get that info in any of the emails received prior to our arrival.
suite was big - pool was great
no charge for parking
